One of the UK’s best-known illustrators has agreed to lend his skills to a summer festival of drawing at the Jerwood Gallery in Hastings, East Sussex, where he has a home.

Sir Quentin Blake – famed for bringing the novels of Roald Dahl to life – is hoping to encourage children in particular to come to the gallery.

BBC South East Today reporter John Young spoke to him, along with Liz Gilmore, director of the Jerwood Gallery.

I’m posting this video, because I am a fan of Sir Blake’s illustrations and I find myself entranced by the works of various illustrators lately. The video and the description comes from bbc.co.uk
